I’m knee deep in trying to get my plate cleared before gaming today. Basically, I take the time to enjoy my first cup of coffee and get the laundry started. Once the mug’s empty, though, I’ve got a short list of stuff I need to get done.
One thing I love about this time of year is the weather. It’s a gray, foggy morning here. The trees are almost bare of leaves. The naked branches stretch into the sky, and you can’t always distinguish between reality and your imagination.
Are they branches? Or bones? Maybe it’s not a tree, but a creature from mythology who has finally awoken after a long slumber.
I’m still writing. ‘Tiadar’ is with my beta readers. I’ve been working, slowly, on ‘Guarding Connor’. And I’m still querying agents in hopes that someone will love my writing enough to take me on as a client.
In the meantime, I’m having a ton of fun writing the D&D stories. One of our players is back after a 6 month hiatus and has loved where I took his character in the stories.
Be kind. Be positive. Be the best you that you can be.
